Greensboro College offers both a minor in International Studies and a campus wide International Studies Program. The central purpose of International Studies at Greensboro College is to promote and support knowledge about societies outside the United States in order to develop a global awareness and appreciation of diversities. The International Studies Program seeks to develop and promote such efforts as study abroad opportunities, student and faculty exchanges, curriculum development, and related educational programs on and off campus. The International Studies Program also stimulates interaction between the College and other organizations dealing with international education on the local, state, regional, national, and international levels. The International Studies Committee serves as a body that develops, recommends, and monitors policies and programs related to International Studies such as the International Studies Minor.
