The Greensboro College executive bachelor's degree is earned through a 72-hour program that takes participants two years, including summers, to complete.
The program consists of 44 hours of business, economics and accounting
courses and 28 hours of related courses.
Students in the program are required to have completed two courses in
English composition and one college math course.
Although the B.B.A. program is a 72-hour program, participants will
need to complete successfully a minimum of 124 total hours of
coursework, including acceptable transfer and experiential credit, to
receive a degree. Students earn 4 hours for each course taken in the B.B.A. program.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- a minimum of 30 hours of transferable college course
work including the courses listed above. (Students may
demonstrate competency in the required areas through established
college procedures, including CLEP tests, for up to 15 additional hours
of credit. They may also receive up to an additional 9 hours of
experiential credit.)
- a minimum of a 2.5 grade point average in all college
work completed.
- a minimum of five years of experience in business is recommended.
- two recommendations, including one from the
applicant's current employer.
Degree requirements for the executive B.B.A. degree are
as follows:
- completion of a minimum of 124 semester hours,
including general education requirements;
- completion of the 72 semester hour executive bachelor's program; and
- a grade point average of at least 2.0 for all semester hours taken at Greensboro College and a grade point average of at least 2.0 in all coursework required for the executive bachelor's program.
Upon completion of all degree requirements, the student will receive a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree. Greensboro College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award bachelor's and master's degrees.
