HEAD ATHLETIC TRAINER

Ted Eaves is entering his fifth season as the Head athletic trainer for Greensboro College in 2006-07.  

Eaves is responsible for providing care for GC’s 16 varsity athletic teams. He works directly with the GC football, men’s basketball, and women’s lacrosse teams.   

Also an adjunct faculty member, Eaves teaches in Greensboro College's nationally accredited athletic training program. Additionally, he acts as the drug testing and insurance coordinator for the athletic program, and manages the administrative duties for GC’s three athletic training rooms. 

Eaves came to Greensboro College after working as the Head athletic trainer at Averett University in Danville, VA. He graduated in 1999 from the College of William & Mary with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology.  

Eaves received his Master of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2001 from Michigan State University. He served as a graduate assistant for the Spartan wrestling and football teams. 

Ted lives in Greensboro with his wife, Jenny and daughter, Caroline.
