John Bayersdorfer     Greensboro College  Assistant to the President/ Circle of Pride Liaison

Assistant to the President John Bayersdorfer has been with the college since 2004. He is responsible for the development of the Greensboro College Sports Park, Circle of Pride Athletic Booster Club, as well as working on the Promise to Keep Capital Campaign and other special projects. His participation with the college on a number of committees actually began while his son, Erik ’94—a two time All-American lacrosse player—attended the college from 1990-1994.

John is a retired business executive. During the latter part of his career, he traveled throughout the world establishing marketing offices and investigating merger/acquisition opportunities. He joined Greensboro College as the result of his extensive international experiences where he found that education, family, and spirituality were keystones for understanding one another regardless of the cultural differences; and Greensboro College embodies all of these attributes.
