GREENSBORO COLLEGE RESULTS AT THE GC INVITATIONAL
Greensboro Women’s Cross Country:
In the past three years, Senior Tracey Comune has broken the Greensboro College Women’s Cross Country 5K record four times. She set a new mark for the fifth time on Saturday. Finishing in fifth place, Comune recorded a time of 21:09, breaking her previous school record.
Finishing sixth out of the seven teams participating in the invitational, The Pride was also led by freshman Kristi Hunter, who finished 22nd with a time of 23:43. Other notable times for The Pride’s women’s team are: Amanda Herron (24:18), Keri Collins (28:35), and Laurie Gray (29:21).
Greensboro Men’s Cross Country:
Freshman Lloyd Durham continues to steadily improve and be the leader of The Pride’s Men Cross Country Team. Durham led all Pride harriers with a time of 30:15, good enough for 12th place overall. GC, with an overall team score of 140 points, finished sixth out of the eight teams competing.
Other Pride notables were: freshman James Teel (32:10), seniors Nick Dishler (32:28) and Lucas Conkle (36:54), and sophomore Kevin Eagan (38:24).
