| Both GC Cross Country Teams Take Second at
Averett Invite

The Greensboro College women placed
second of five teams at the season-opening Averett Invitational on Saturday.
Bett Shelby paced Pride runners with a 23:55 5K time and an 8th place finish. Other GC placings: Jasmin Duncan (12th/26:51); Bobbie Barnes (16th/27:51); Jamie Montsinger (17th/27:52); LeighAnn Cardwell (18th/29:05); Brianne McAlister (20th/30:03); Sarah Jeffery (25th/32:26); Stephanie Robertson (29th/35:37).
The Pride men finished second out
of three teams. Leading the way for GC was Michael Barnard who placed second
with a 29:34 time. Other GC finishes: Johnnie Williams, (6th/33:36); Brian
Holloway (7th/33.59); Brandon Harris (9th/34:49); Jon Southall (12th/38:40);
Brian Beasley (10th/36:58); Antoine Bediako (14th/40:52).
