Erik Naglee (Gainesville, Fla.) was named to the 26th Annual 2003 College Sports Information Division III All-America Football Team.
A senior, Naglee earned honorable mention All-America recognition as a punter.

Naglee is the first Pride football player to earn the honor. He punted 68 times for an average of 41.4 yards, which ranked him 5th in the nation. He placed 12 punts inside the 20-yard-line.

He was picked USA South first team as a punter last month. Naglee also was a second team all-conference pick as a kicker. He connected on four field goals and made 13 extra points. Naglee closed his Pride career with four first team and three second team all-conference awards.

Additionally, Naglee was one of three Pride student-athletes chosen to the College Sports Information Director's (CoSIDA) Regional College Division Football Team. He's a member of the conference academic team and Athletic Director's honor roll. Naglee maintains a 3.23 grade point average.

A total of 123 players from 76 schools were named to the 26th Annual 2003 College Sports Information Division III All-America Football Team on Wednesday.

"This caps off a highly decorated career for Erik and he deserves it," said GC Head Coach Neal Mitchell. "As a student and a football player he represents what we're all about at Greensboro College."

The ballot included 321 players representing 130 of the NCAA Division III (non-scholarship) football-playing institutions.
