The Pride had a private screening of the movie "Invincible" at the Carmike Theater on September 6th. TMAC Dennis Franks (pictured left with Coach Mitchell) played with Vince Papale on the Philadelphia Eagles. His character played a key role in the movie. Franks talked to the team following the viewing.

TMAC Gill Beck addressed The Pride at practice prior to the Southern Virginia game. A United States District Attorney,  Beck played football at Appalachian State University. He spoke about the essential ingredients in winning football discipline, teamwork and hard work and how they translate to his career.
