Greensboro College's Josh Riddle (Wilmington, NC/Delaney) and Shaun Abernathy (Hildebran, NC/East Burke) have been selected to the CoSIDA College Division South Region Men's Soccer Academic Second Team. 

Riddle is a senior business major with a 3.77 grade point average. He was named to Athletic Director's Honor roll and Conference Academic team last year. Riddle is also a GC ambassador, an International Spanish honor Society member, an has been elected to the Deans list every semester at GC. He is minoring in Spanish. 

Goalkeeper Abernathy is a history major with a 3.25 grade point average. He was named to the Dean's List and Conference Academic team last year. Abernathy has 0.0 goals against average and 2-0 record this year. In his career, he boasts a 7-0-1 record.

The Pride men's soccer team is 14-3-3 and hosts Piedmont College (Ga.) in a first round NCAA playoff game on Wednesday. Game time is 1 p.m. at Pride Field
