Three Greensboro College men's soccer players have been named to the NCAA Division III All-South Region team by the National Soccer Coaches's Association of America (NSCAA).

Junior defender Tony Falvino earned first team recognition. A native of Johnsonville, New Zealand, Falvino captained a 2004 team that finished with an 11-5-3 record--GC's 13th straight season with 10 or more wins. Falvino, a USA South First team pick last month, helped a Greensboro defense that surrendered 0.84 goals-per-game.

Galen Reid (Greensboro, NC/Page) and Samuel Hale (Upper Marlboro, MD/DeMatha Catholic) and were named to the region's second and third teams respectively.

Reid is sophomore who scored a team-leading seven goals for The Pride. Hale, also a sophomore, is a defender who scored once and passed for three assists for GC. Both Hale and Reid earned All-USAS first team honors.
