Murfreesboro, N.C. -- Freshman Ibraheem Muhammad scored once and passed for two assists as visiting Greensboro College shut out Chowan College, 3-0, in a non-conference match on Sunday.

Muhammad assisted Adam Sellars in the 7th minute for the game's first tally. The score stayed 1-0 until the 76th minute, when he assisted fellow freshman Chris Day. Just 10 seconds later (75:37) , Muhammad scored unassisted for the match's final score.

The Pride out shot the Braves, 32-8. Matt Brown played the first 85 minutes in goal for GC and earned the win. He collected 3 saves. Ryan Symmonds played the last 5 minutes between the pipes for GC. Hector Romero snatched 8 saves for the home club.
