GC Upsets Third-Ranked Emory 2-1 in Second OT 

Atlanta, Ga. -- Galen Reid (Page HS) scored in the 104th minute as Greensboro College upset third ranked Emory in Atlanta on Saturday. Freshman Zack "Three Touch" Peacock assisted on the game-winner. 

The Pride's Mark Dirou opened the game's scoring in the eighth minute. Sam Hale and Richard Engel earned assists on the play. EU's Chad Chambers tied the match in the 23rd minute. 

GC outshot the Eagles, 13-12. Matt Brown collected eight saves for the green and white. 

"This was a hard fought game and a very big win for us," said GC Head Coach Rusty Scarborough. "We have a young team that has now won three straight matches and beat the nation's third ranked team."
