GC 3, Kean 1

Union, N.J. -- Ryan Walsh (Western Guilford HS) scored and assisted once as visiting Greensboro College defeated Kean University, 3-1, on Saturday. The win was the fourth straight for The Pride (7-3-1).
  

Walsh set up Aaron Holcomb in the fourth minute for the match's first tally. The score remained 1-0 at halftime.
  

Walsh netted an unassisted goal in the 46th minute for The Pride. Kean then scored and cut the margin to 2-1 in the 61st minute.
  

Freshman Eric Hathcett recorded the game's last score in the with six minutes remaining. Galen Reid earned the assist. Matt Brown made two saves for GC, which out shot KU (6-6-1), 20-7.
