Third-seeded Methodist scored early and held on to defeat #2 Greensboro College, 1-0, in a USA South semifinal match. MC’s Michael Davis scored off an assist from Kevin Gray in the 11th minute. 

The Pride peppered Monarch goalkeeper Justin Agema (9 saves) with 22 shots but could not score. Matt Brown recorded 3 saves against 7 Methodist shots. 

The Pride record is now 11-5-3. The loss could end GC’s run of ten consecutive NCAA tournament appearances.
