CARY, N.C. -- Freshman Ibraheem Muhamud scored three goals to lead Greensboro College to a 5-0 win over Washington & Lee on Sunday. The win was The Pride’s first of the season, and improved its record to 1-2-1.

GC’s other two scores came from Greensboro natives:Galen Reid (Greensboro, NC/Page) and freshman Robert Fricke (Greensboro, NC/Grimsley).

“We converted our scoring opportunities today, which we hadn’t done yet this year,” said GC Head Coach Rusty Scarborough. “W&L is a strong program so this is a good win for us. Hopefully this victory will get us on the right track.”
