CARY, N.C. -- Freshman Ibraheem
Muhamud scored three goals to lead Greensboro College to a 5-0 win
over Washington & Lee on Sunday. The win was The Pride’s first of the
season, and improved its record to 1-2-1.
GC’s other two scores came from Greensboro
natives:Galen Reid (Greensboro, NC/Page) and freshman Robert
Fricke (Greensboro, NC/Grimsley).
“We converted our scoring opportunities
today, which we hadn’t done yet this year,” said GC Head Coach Rusty
Scarborough. “W&L is a strong program so this is a good win for
us. Hopefully this victory will get us on the right track.”
