Lynchburg 14, GC 9 

Twelfth-ranked Lynchburg College used a decisive third quarter en route to a 14-9 over Greensboro College at Pride Field on Wednesday. The Hornets (5-3), who led 6-4 at halftime, outscored The Pride 7-0 in the third period. 

Matt Perry and Rob Frisby both scored twice and assisted once for the home team. Jim McMahon added 2 goals for GC. Senior day honorees Nick Harness and Tim Ryan scored one goal and passed for one helper each.  

Pride backstop Corey Reina recorded 11 saves for The Pride. Ronnie Chase scored GC's other goal.  

LC was led by Brian Kemper, who scored 3 goals and passed for 2 assists. Hornet Goalkeepers Nick Braun (7 saves) and Chris Johnson (5 saves) split halves in the cage. Braun, who started, improved to 3-3.
