GC 12, Marymount 6
ARLINGTON, Va. -- Greensboro College jumped
out to a 6-2 advantage in the first quarter and cruised to a 12-6
win at Marymount University on Saturday. GC led 8-2 at halftime.
The Pride outshot the Saints, 38-16 and also out
scooped the home team in ground balls, 54-22. Marymount ended its
regular season with a 2-11 mark. Greensboro improved to 6-5 on the year.
Junior midfielder Tim Ryan led the
scoring for Greensboro with four goals. Junior attack Nick Harness added
two goals and handed off two assists.
Senior Kosta Troupos had three goals for Marymount.
Senior John Dynan added one goal and one assist.
