Colorado College 12, GC 8
Greensboro, N.C. -- Jud Brown and Robin Liston each scored three times to lead visiting Colorado College (4-4) to a 12-8 win over Greensboro College (5-3) on Saturday.
On a wet and soggy Pride Field, the Tigers led the entire game. CC led 7-2 at halftime and 8-3 after three quarters before The Pride came to life. The Pride scored five fourth period goals and twice cut the advantage to two goals.
After Matt Perry (one goal, one assist) scored with 7:26 remaining, The home club trailed 10-8. The Tigers then scored the game's last two goals for the final margin.
Ian Montgomery led The Pride with three goals and one assist. Andrew Carey tallied twice and Mike DePersia and Jordan Kenney found the net once each.
Colorado College out shot Greensboro, 27-22. For GC, Corey Reina stopped nine shots and counterpart Chris Shopneck recorded seven saves for the Tigers.
