Ashland, Va. -- Freshman Jordan Kenney scored three goals, but defense was the key as visiting Greensboro College handed Randolph Macon a rare college lacrosse shutout, 10-0, on Saturday.

Ian Montgomery added two goals and two assists for GC, which was ahead 7-0 at halftime. Andrew Carey scored twice and Ron Chase and Mike DePersia each passed two assists. GC goalkeeper Corey Reina stopped a season high 16 shots.
