SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - Greensboro improved to 5-1 by beating Wittenberg for the second straight year, 16-8, on a cold and wet day in Ohio.
Greensboro jumped out to a 7-1 lead before the Tigers finally showed some signs of life. Still, Greensboro held a commanding 11-3 halftime advantage and then just kind of held on through the final 30 minutes to register the win.
Ian Montgomery paced The Pride with four goals. Freshmen Jordan Kenney had two goals and two assists and Dustin Harlowe tallied once and dished three assists. Matt Perry collected two goals and two helpers. GC Goalkeeper Corey Reina had 11 saves.
