Sharon Boyd set a GC record in the 400 individual medley with a time of 5:11.59, but NCAA Division II Pfeiffer University defeated The Pride, 58-37, at Hanes Pool on Friday night. 

Boyd's mark eclipsed the time set by Amanda Sharp (5:24.59) in 2001. She also won the 200 breast (2:43.93)--and missed that record by one-half of a second--and won the 200 fly (2:29.12).

Teammate Catherine Bethea also posted two wins for The Pride. She won the 50 free (28.06) and the 100 free (1:00.72).
