Game One: CNU 4, GC 2
Newport News, Va. -- Christopher rallied for two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to beat Greensboro College, 4-2, in a game that started on Saturday but finished today. The two teams were tied 2-2 after five innings on Saturday before picking up the action at 10 a.m. Sunday.

GC led 2-0 before CNU tied the game in the fifth inning during a downpour prior to the game being suspended.

Janet Fairchild went 2-2 with 2 runs and 2 RBI to lead the Captains. Jenee Johnson was 2-4, with one double and one run for The Pride.  Kristen Slade hurled the first five innings but got no decision. Erica Brown pitched the sixth inning and took the defeat for GC.

Game Two: GC 6, CNU 0
Newport News, Va. -- Jamie Pittman pitched a complete game shutout to lead Greensboro College to 6-0 blanking at Christopher Newport on Sunday. Pittman allowed just two hits, struck out two and walked one for GC.

Jessica Clack got two if Greensboro College's nine hits in the game. Clack was 2-3 with one run scored. Teammate Lauren Manning (1-2, 2b, 3 RBI) also had a big game at the plate. Leading 1-0 in the fourth frame, Manning knocked adouble that cleared the bases and gace The Pride a 4-0 lead. GC added two runs in the seventh inning.
