Game Two:  GC 5, Meredith 3 
Greensboro, N.C. -- Greensboro College won the second of a doubleheader, 5-3, at Salvation Army Field on Wednesday. The victory gave The Pride (23-12) the most wins in program history.

Kristen Slade earned her second win of the day after hurling the last four innings in place of starter Jamie Pittman. Slade surrendered no hits, walked one and struck out four MC batters in her stint.

The Pride trailed 3-1 after 2 1/2 innings. GC then responded with four runs in the bottom of the third for the game's final runs. Kelly Cooper (2-2, 3B, 2 RBI) hit a triple to knock in two runners and put Greensboro ahead 4-3.  Pittman went 2-3, with a double and a run and Bailey Cotton was 2-2 with 2 RBI.

Game One:  GC 9, Meredith 0 (5 innings)
Greensboro, N.C.  -- Greensboro College defeated visiting Meredith, 9-0, in a five run game on Wednesday in the first game of a non-conference doubleheader.

The Pride scored once in both the first and second innings and put two runs on the board in the third. In the fourth frame GC scored five runs--three of them were driven in my Margaret Hamm's double. Hamm was 2-3 with 3 RBI.

Also having multiple hit games were Whitney Williams (2-2, 2B, 2 runs, 2 RBI) and Frances Constantino (2-3, run).

Kristen Slade earned the shutout on the mound. She allowed just three hits, struck out five Angels and walked none.
