GC SOFTBALL'S CONSTANTINO EARNS NCCSIA
Frances Constantino (Burnsville, NC/Mountain Heritage), a senior outfielder for the Greensboro College Softball Team, was named to the North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) College Division softball all-state team. Constantino--a native of Burnsville, N.C. and graduate of Mountain Heritage High School--batted .400 and set a single-season record with 25 stolen in 2005. Constantino also recently earned All-USA South Conference first team recognition and CoSIDA regional academic team honors. A psychology major, Constantino carries a 3.66 grade point average. She's made the Dean's List every semester at GC and is a member of the Psi Chi psychology honors society. The Pride finished the season 24-14. GC set a program record for wins and finished second in the USA South regular season. Constantino was picked to the inaugural NCCSIA College Division softball all-state team in 2004.
