Coach Ben Guiliano was hired in 1998 to re-start the Greensboro College softball program. His overall college softball coaching record entering the 2004 season is 244-141 (.633). Guiliano has done a fine job reestablishing the program. His three-year record for GC is 69-67 (.507). In 2003, Guiliano led The Pride to a 21-13 record--its best statistical finish in program history. Guiliano brings a wealth of successful coaching experience to Greensboro College. His softball experience came at St. Andrews Presbyterian College (Laurinburg, NC)-- from 1989-92--and Genesse Community College (Batavia, NY) from 1978-85. Guiliano worked as the volleyball and softball coach at both schools. More recently, Guiliano was the volleyball coach at NCAA Division I Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. A 1979 graduate of SUNY Geneseo, Guiliano and his
wife, Cayce, live in Greensboro. He received his master's degree from SUNY
Brockport.
