The USA South Athletic Conference has announced the results of its 2004 volleyball pre-season poll.  Greensboro has been selected to finish first this upcoming season.  

The Pride returns five starters and seven letter winners from last year's 25-13 team. Head Coach Jean Lojko enters her 23rd year leading GC in 2004.

Averett followed closely behind at second.  The poll is voted on by the volleyball coach at each school.  The Pride finished second in last year's regular season, one game behind the Cougars.  AU won both the regular season and tournament titles in 2003.
