Three Pride Student Athletes Earn USA South Weekly Honors

Men's Soccer Player of the Week
        
Aaron Holcomb, Greensboro - The Pride midfielder from Pickerington, OH was instrumental in the Pride going 3-0 this week.  He had the game winning goal in a 3-2 win over Guilford and had a goal and an assist in a 2-1 victory over Oglethorpe.  The Pride also defeated Chowan, 3-0.  

Women's Soccer Player of the Week
       
Natalie Henderson, Greensboro - The senior midfielder from High Point, NC played a prominent role in the Pride's 4-0 Conference win over Ferrum.  In the game, she recorded a natural hat trick and then assisted on the final goal.  The Pride also lost twice this week: 2-1 to Guilford and 4-1 to Roanoke.  

Volleyball Player of the Week
      
Katie Smith, Greensboro- The Colfax, NC junior led the Pride to a 4-0 week, including going 3-0 in the USA South.  Over the course of 12 games, the middle hitter averaged 5.75 kills and 1.25 digs and hit a whopping .495. This is the third consecutive week Smith has been honored with this award.  The Pride defeated N.C. Wesleyan, Emory & Henry, Christopher Newport and Ferrum, all 3-0.
