Volleyball: GC d. Methodist 0 (30-27, 30-20, 30-16)

Fayetteville, N.C. -- The Pride earned its ninth straight win 3-0 (30-27, 30-20, 30-16) at Methodist on Wednesday night. Lauren Smith led GC in its conference opener with 10 kills. Katie Smith added 9 kills and Courtney Stringfellow recorded 6 digs. Setter Sarah Davis passed for 33 assists for The Pride.

GC improved to 9-0 and 1-0 in USA South play. The Monarchs are now 5-5 and 0-1.
