Greensboro College's nine win improvement
was the fourth best among the nation's NCAA Division III women's basketball
programs, according to a report released by the NCAA.
The Pride was 16-9 in 2002-03, after
finishing 7-18 the previous season. Coach Jason Tuggle will enter
his second year leading GC in 2003-04. Tuggle was the conference co-coach-of-the-year
last season.
Fellow USA South member Shenandoah
was one of four institutions with a nine-game improvement. The entire list
