Christina Daniels scored
16 points to lead Greensboro College to a 72-64 win over visiting Emory
& Henry (4-3) at Hanes Gym on Thursday night. The win was GC's third
straight and The Pride improved to 4-3.
GC outscored the Wasps, 31-7,
in the last 8 minutes of the first half to lead 39-28 at the break. Both
teams shot well, but GC had the better percentage 48 to 47-percent. The
Pride shot 60-percent (15-25) in the first half.
Ruthanne Clark netted
12 points and fellow freshman Paris Buckner added 10 points. Buckner,
like Daniels, had three 3-pointers.
