GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Tia Saunders scored a game-high 21 points to lead visiting Peace College to a 70-60 USA South win over Greensboro College at Hanes Gym on Thursday night.

Saunders and company overcame a 35-28 deficit at halftime en route to the victory. Teammate Lindy Cartwright chipped in 14 points for Peace.

GC was led by Christina Daniels, who scored 18 points--14 in the first 20 minutes. Sally Rice tallied 14 points for the home team. GC converted 11-20 free throws in the game, but made just 4-12 in the second half.
