April Hall scored on a pass
from Paris Buckner with 11 seconds left to give Greensboro College
a 59-58 win over Shenandoah on Sunday at Hanes Gymnasium on Sunday. SU
led the entire game before Hall's basket.
Buckner led the home club with a
game-high 20 points.
The Hornets outshot GC, 46 to 34
percent. The Pride however, made 11 of 18 free throws to stay in the contest.
Adina Trammel scored 14 points and
grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds for SU. SU (12-13, 9-7) led at halftime
33-23. For GC it was its second straight comeback win after defeating
CNU on Saturday.
