Greensboro, N.C. -- Kim Enoch
scored 25 points and grabbed 21 rebounds to lead Greensboro College (11-5,
5-1) to 94-78 USA South win over Shenandoah on Saturday. Enoch was 10-15
from the field and made 5-5 free throws.
GC's 94 points was the most since
The Pride defeated Ferrum, 95-60, in February of 1997. The wild game saw
both teams combine for 147 field goal attempts. The Pride shot 48-percent
(36-75) to SU's 44-percent (32-72).
GC had its five starters score in
double figures. Sirlena Moore had a double-double with 12 points
and 10 rebounds. Christina Daniels tallied 16 points (4 three-pointers),
and DaVenna Brown and Ruthanne Clark each had 13. Brown dished
a team-high 8 assists.
SU's Alicia Sanders scored 22 points
(4 three-pointers) for the Hornets. GC led 52-47 at the break.
