Greensboro, N.C. -- Sirlena Moore scored 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Greensboro College (13-5, 7-1) to a 58-42 win over USA South rival Methodist at Hanes Gym on Wednesday. Moore was 7-12 from the field and had 11 points in a GC-dominated first half.

The Pride got off to a blistering start, outscoring the Monarchs 15-0 over the first 9:39 before the visitors got on the scoreboard. The Pride led 37-17 at the break. GC held MC to 18 percent shooting (4-22) in the first half.

Christina Daniels scored 13 points (three 3-pointers) and Kim Enoch grabbed 11 rebounds and added 9 points. Ruthanne Clark also had 9 points. The win was GC's fifth straight and improved the team's home record to 8-0. 

Methodist was led by Ashley Smith who scored 11 rebounds.
