Women's Basketball: Greensboro 64, Shenandoah 58

Winchester, Va. -- Kim Enoch had a big second half and helped Greensboro 
College clinch at least a tie for the USA South regular season championship 
with a 64-58 road win on Saturday.

GC can secure its first outright conference regular season title with a win at 
CNU on Sunday. A loss to the Captains would put The Pride and Ferrum as 
co-champions.

Enoch had a game-high 18 points, with 16 coming in the second half. She 
grabbed 11 rebounds and made 10-12 free throws (all in the last 20 minutes). 
GC trailed 24-22 at the break. Christina Daniels tallied 11 and freshman 
Alison Blackmon added 10 for The Pride.

SU outshot GC 37-percent (23-62) to 27-percent (20-73). Yet The Pride made 
19-27 free throws and the Hornets converted 5-12 from the charity stripe.

Joia Davis scored 14 points and had 12 rebounds and Cassie Womack had 12 and 
pulled down 14 boards.
