Greensboro 76, CNU 60: THE PRIDE WINS ITS FIRST OUTRIGHT CONFERENCE REGULAR SEASON WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TITLE! 

Newport News, VA. -- Kim Enoch posted game highs of 25 points and 15 rebounds to lead visiting Greensboro College (18-6, 12-2) over Christopher Newport, 76-60, on Sunday. With the win, GC secures the USA South regular season championship--the first ever outright conference crown for The Pride women's basketball program. 

For The Pride, Christina Daniels finished with 13 points and Adanna McDowell added 10 points and six boards. Ruthanne Clark added 10 points, six assists and five steals for GC. 

GC led at halftime 32-27. The second half belonged to Greensboro as they wrapped up the 2004-05 USA South regular season title. 

For the game, Greensboro shot 22-of-60 (37%) from the field, 1-of-8 on three's and 31-of-38 (82%) from the charity stripe. The Lady Captains shot 21-of-64 (33%) from the floor, 2-of-11 (18%) on three's and 16-of-27 (59%) from the free throw line. CNU (10-15, 7-7) was lead by its lone senior on Senior Day. Chazzy Morris lead the Lady Captains with 18 points. 

GC will host Shenandoah Tuesday in a quarterfinal conference tournament game. CNU will play either NC Wesleyan or Methodist in the Freeman Center on Tuesday at 7 pm.
