Greensboro  60, Guilford 37 @ Greensboro Coliseum

Kim Enoch scored 21 points and grabbed 9 rebounds for The Pride. GC, which led 30-10 at half time, broke a 5-game losing streak vs. the Quakers in the annual series. Staci Humphrey scored 11 points and passed for a game-high 7 assists.

Enoch is averaging 20.6 points and 16 boards in her first three games with
the Pride. She had 10 points in the opening half.

"We came out strong," said Pride Head Coach Jason Tuggle. "We played hard and defended well early and that helped us jump out to a big lead. We turned the tables on them a bit as that's what they did to us last year."

Guilford made only 3-of-28 shots from the floor in the opening period and trailed by as many as 25 before whittling the deficit down to 14 with a 13-2 run midway through the second half. The Pride stopped the spurt with a 15-1 run of its own over the next six minutes.

Sophomore Staci Humphrey added 11 points, seven boards and a game-high seven assists for Greensboro.

Guilford's Dionne Graham (Savannah, GA/Jenkins) scored a team-high 14 points and the Quakers' Courtney Hill (Kannapolis, NC/North Rowan) had seven points and a game-high 13 rebounds. Guilford managed only 20.8
shooting from the floor and scored its fewest points in a game since a 52-36 setback at Emory & Henry January 30, 1993.
