GC Game Report

College of Staten Island 74, GC 62 

West Palm Beach, FL -- College of Staten Island extended its win streak to nine games as they defeated Greensboro College, 74-62, Tuesday afternoon at Palm Beach Atlantic University as part of the Trip Sports Cruizin Classic. 

Staci Humphrey poured in a career high 28 points to lead Greensboro. She made 9-12 free throws, had 8 rebounds and had 6 steals. Sirlena Moore recorded career highs of 16 points and 15 rebounds for The Pride.  

The Dolphins sprinted out to an early 12-2 lead and enjoyed a 35-18 halftime cushion. Acasha Gordon scored a game-high 29 points for CSI. 

The loss was GC's third straight but its first to an NCAA Division III team. GC's next game is its home opener vs. Meredith on Jan. 8 at 2 p.m.
