GREENSBORO, N.C.-- Greensboro College beat visiting Sweet Briar, 12-6, at Pride Field on Friday. 

GC's Lorin Smith scored 5 goals and and 3 assists to in leading GC to its best offensive showing of the year. Goalkeeper Stephanie Schaeffer recorded 10 saves and picked up her first win of the year. Jenn Dixon led the Vixens with 3 goals. 

"Things are coming together for us," said GC Head Coach Mike Lackemacher. "We need to build on this positive performance."

Greensboro (1-3) plays crosstown rival Guilford on Tuesday. Sweet Briar dropped to 0-4.
