Pride Comes From Behind to Beat Monarchs, 12-10; 
GC Will Faces Shenandoah on USAS Title Match

Ferrum, Va. -- Greensboro College rallied from a halftime deficit to defeat Methodist, 12-10, in a USA South Semifinal match on Friday.

The third-seeded Monarchs led second seed GC 6-5 at the break. The Pride, however, got four goals from freshman Brittany Metz en route to the win. Karen Hall scored twice and assisted once and Jenna Gast netted two scores for the green and white.

With the win, GC Pride plays Shenandoah in a quest for its 4th straight conference crown tomorrow.

GC record 8-8; Streak W4; Up next vs. Shenandoah, 4-17, 1 p.m. in USA South Championship.
