Heil
|
Henry Heil was
hired as assistant baseball coach at Greensboro College in July of 2001.
A native of Lynchburg, Va.,
Heil played four years of baseball at Davidson College. An infielder and
pitcher, he earned Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll distinction
in 1996. Heil earned his bachelor's degree in history from Davidson in
1997.
Heil taught and coached at
the high school level for the past four years. In 1999, he enrolled in
the master's program (history) at the University of South Carolina. Heil
received his MA in May, 2001..
In addition to coaching,
Heil teaches in the history department at Greensboro College, and works
at the North Carolina Baseball Academy in Greensboro..
He and his wife, Caroline,
live in Greensboro.
