Methodist 11, GC 4 

Methodist College defeated visiting Greensboro College, 11-4, in the USA South regular season finale in Fayetteville on Saturday. 

The Pride cut the MC lead to 5-4 in the 7th inning, but the Monarchs added 1 run in the bottom of the 7th and 3 tallies in the 8th. 

Larry Lockhart led GC at the plate. He homored in his second straight game and went 2-5 with 1 run and 1 RBI. Zach Tacelli was 2-5 and Brent Cole went 2-4 with 1 double and a run scored. 

Erik Kutz (2-7) took the loss for The Pride.
