At the plate, Brent Justice was 3-4 with 2 runs and 1 RBI. Jeremy Egan was 3-4 with 1 run and 2 RBI. Zach Tacelli was 2-2 with 2 runs and 1 RBI. Jeremy Morrison doubled in 3 at-bats and scored 3 times. 

AnDrew Keever was the winning pitcher for The Pride. He hurled 5 innings, allowed 3 earned runs, struck out 4 and walked 2. Brandon Jorth pitched a scoreless 6th inning for GC.

Freshman pitcher Chatham Bray improved to 3-0 and helped GC to its 7th straight win. He struck out 4 and walked 4. Chad Clark piched a scoreless and hitless 2 1/3 innings to close the game. 

Leading Pride hitters were: Zach Tacelli (3-3, 1 run and 2 RBI); Andrew Terista (3-4, 1 run). Orlando Lago and Kris Wiggins both had 2 hits for GC.
