Ferrum 5, GC 3 

Thomas Meeks struck out 9 Pride batters and improved to 3-0 for the year as visiting Ferrum College defeated Greensboro College, 5-3, at War Memorial Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Todd Meadows earned the save for the Panthers, which swept the 3-game series with GC. 

Pride hurler AnDrew Keever (5-1) suffered his first loss of the year. Keever pitched a complete game, allowed 3 earned runs and fanned 6 Panthers. At the plate, Jeremy Morrison went 2-5 with 1 run, a stolen base, and 1 RBI for The Pride. Kevin Mong doubled in 5 at-bats for GC. 

Both teams knocked 8 hits in the game. FC's Kevin Griffin went 3-3 with 1 RBI to lead Panther hitters.
