Jeff Pothoven and Matt Tully combined for a shutout as Greensboro College defeated Villa Julie, 6-0, at War Memorial Stadium on Tuesday. 

Pothoven (3 strikeouts) pitched the first 6 innings and earned the win. Tully allowed just one hit in the last 3 innings and garnered the save. 

The Pride scored two runs in the third, fifth and seventh innings in the contest. 

Three GC players had 2 hits in the game. Jeremy Morrison (2-3, 2 runs and 2 RBI) kept his 19 game hitting streak (23 counting last year) alive. Larry Lockhart was 2-2 with 3 RBI, a sacrifice fly, and one stolen base. Brent Cole went 2-3.
