Softball Pitcher of the Week

Jamie Pittman, Greensboro - The sophomore from Fuquay-Varina, NC led the Pride to a 9-1 victory over Southern Virginia.  She pitched five innings, allowed no earned runs and struck out five batters.  

Baseball Rookie Pitcher of the Week

Chatham Bray, Greensboro - The Dumfries, VA freshman led the Pride to a 10-6 victory over Chowan.  He pitched six innings and struck out two batters.  With the win, Bray improved to 4-0 on the season.  

Softball Rookie of the Week

Bailey Cotton, Greensboro - The freshman from Kipling, NC helped the Pride to a 2-0 performance on the week.  She was a combined 4-6 with two RBI.  

Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week

Elise Broverman, Greensboro - The freshman from Charleston, WV got off to a perfect start to her season and collegiate career.  Although the Pride lost to Lynchburg 5-4, Broverman won both her singles and doubles matches.  She played at the third spot in singles and the first flight in doubles.
