GC 12, Averett 3 

GC pounded out 13 hits and beat Averett, 12-3, in the first game of a Sunday doubleheader at Grimsley High School.  

Kevin Mong led the GC cause by going 3-4, with 3 doubles, 2 runs and 3 RBI. Dabney Cosby and Andrew Terista each knocked 2-run home runs for The Pride.  

GC's Jeremy Morrison extended his hitting streak to 17 games. AnDrew Keever earned the win for The Pride.

Averett 12, GC 4 

Jeremy Morrison extended his hitting streak to 18 games.  He was 2-3 with 1 run and a double.  Larry Lockhart was 2-4 with a 2-run home run, 1 run and 3 RBI's.  Brent Cole was 2-3 with 1 RBI.  Chatham Bray (4-1) took his first loss of the year.
