GC at USA South Tournament, Danville, Va. 
Chowan 4, GC 3 

Danville, Va. -- Greensboro College rallied late, but Chowan College knocked The Pride out of USA South Tournament, 4-3, at Dan Daniel Park on Thursday. 

The Braves had a 4-0 lead entering the 7th inning. GC the tallied a single run in the 7th and 2 more in the 8th. The Pride had 2 runners on base in the 8th when the last out was made. 

Jeremy Egan went 2-4 with a double, 1 run and 1 RBI to lead Pride hitters. Kevin Mong (3-2) earned the loss for GC. Brandon Howlin led CC at the plate. He was 2-3 with a double and 2 runs scored. 

GC closes the season with three games next week: at Lynchburg, 4-19, 3 p.m.; vs. Guilford at War Memorial Stadium, 4-20, 4 p.m. and senior day vs. Eastern Mennonite, 4-23, 6 p.m.
