GC 11, Averett 6 

DANVILLE, Va. – Greensboro College  (11-6, 3-0 USA South) scored six runs in the fourth and fifth innings combined en route to an 11-6 win at Averett on Sunday. The win delivered a 3-game sweep in the conference opening series for The Pride and extended GC's win streak to seven games. 

Greensboro was led offensively by Brent Justice, who went 3-for-5. Jesse Sutton was 2-for-3 on the day with three RBIs for the Pride. Chad Bray pitched seven innings and earned the win. 

Averett (4-11, 1-5 USA South) gave up only three earned runs Sunday, but committed 10 errors in the loss.
