Q: If I don't have access to a computer, is there another way to get game results?
A: Yes, fans can call the GC sports hotline at (336) 217-7226 for the latest scores and highlights. The hotline is updated at the end of night when GC teams play.
Q: Other than the scoreboard page where else can I find news on the website?
A: http://www.gborocollege.edu/weblog.php?action=showpage&page=news&blogid=9 has all the latest sports news stories. Additionally, each sports home page will have an archive of that team's game highlights and news.
Q: What else is found on each sport's home page?
A: In addition to the season news archive, each GC team site has a roster, schedule, updated statistics and a season preview--or review--depending upon what time of the year it is. Also, each program has a past season/history link that offers information about past Pride teams.
Q: When are statistics and each team's results updated on the sport's home page?
A: For home games, this updating is done following the game. In most cases, this information is available at the end of night when GC teams play. If it’s an away game, however, statistics are normally posted by noon the following day.
Q: How do I find out about schedule changes?
A: Each team's current schedule has the most updated game site and time information.
Q: What information can be found on each student athlete on the web site?
A: Each student-athlete has his or her own page, which is hot linked from the GC team's roster page. The student-athlete’s page has general biographical information and a head and shoulder photograph.
Q: What is PrideNet and/or a webcasst: PrideNet is an audio broadcast that can be heard on your computer with an active Internet connection. GC offers live webcasts of Pride teams, archived game broadcasts and interviews with Pride coaches. Additonally, GC has now partnered with Stretch Internet (http://www.stretchinterenet.com) to broadcast high-demand games.
Q: What is required to listen to a PrideNet broadcast?
A: In addition to a computer, modem, and Internet connection, users need to a media player (Win Amp). To access a live or archived game, click on the PrideNet Webcasts link.
Q: What is required to listen to a Stretch Internet broadcast?
